    For your consideration, is a 1977 yamaha xs 650,This auction is for what is pictured only frame engine carbs tank ONLY!! i purchased this with the intention of making it into a cool chop, but no cash or time left , so my loss is your gain, The engine has good compression andkicks over well, there is no electric start, the kicker has a brass kicker pedal,there is chrome valve covers and acorn nuts, i have never had the engine running or apart, so i cannot say with certainty, of the condition, i was told from the previous owner it was gone through, but i have no way of documenting this. The transmission shifts well and is solid, it has a foot clutch and hand shift, a very unique set up, the goose neck pipes are one off,and it comes with a coffin gas tank, the frame had the hardtail treatment and the front neck is degreed for at least a six foot front end.

    FOR SALE - 1982 Yamaha 400 Heritage Special.  This hard to find model is in excellent used condition both mechanically and cosmetically.  It has covered only 6037 miles from new as of this date.  The bike needs nothing to be used every day as is.  There are no required repairs.  Everything works as it should.  Tires and the dual seat are in excellent condition.  Currently the bike has a set of black drag-style bars fitted, but the original chrome low riser-style bars are included with the sale.  The pipes are quiet, and acceleration is strong.  There will be no disappointments with this bike by any reasonable person - it is as nice as any used bike could be that has covered the indicated miles.  It is not in concours condition, but there are no apologies as to its condition.     Attention vintage motorcycle collectors,here is a 1975 Yamaha XS500 project one owner with 2,188 actual miles! bike has been sitting inside storage for twenty years,title has been lost,i can give a bill of sale and pass along contact information of a title company that can aquire a new title for the winner of the auction,the vin plate is missing but the previous owner engraved the vin on the frame and that matches the engine #,motor kicks over with good compression with the kicker on the side of the bike,throttle is free,brakes don't work,needs a battery,carbs probably will need cleaning before the bike will run,tank looks ok inside,key is missing,clutch lever pulls in,tranni shifts threw the gears,there might be some rust here and there on the bike,might be a nut or bolt missing also and or other everything I have for the bike is in the pictures,selling as is although I don't see any major repairs that the bike will need,buyer will have to pay for shipping and locate there own shipper if one is needed I'm not sure there prices I have met with them several times usually uship.com,i can store the bike for one week after the auction ends sorry no longer,auction may end early because I might sell the bike before the auction ends,paypal or wal mart wire transfer accepted as payment if your not local,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding,im located in Minnesota,the bike is in storage and the zip code is 55304,Im always looking to buy old and or unwanted Motorcycles and Dirt bikes,Thanks Carl.

    Here is a 1980 Yamaha XS Eleven with 54,813 miles that needs work,i picked this up locally from a party who wasnt completely honest about the condition of the bike he said it needed carb work,runs with the choke on only,battery,brake work and has a charging problem it doesnt charge might need a stater,but he didnt mention anything about the smoke that comes out of the left muffler and the oil that leaks a little from somewhere,i arrived at his house and he had it running i said its smoking out the left muffler and he said dont worry about that it will go away i had to use starting fluid to start it,i got home with the bike and it started without starting fluid but still smoked maybe even more than it did when i was talking to the seller so im guessing it needs valve seats,or valve work,or rings,or maybe the carbs are leaking gas down the cylinders or all of the above so im passing the project onto the next person who wants to repair it,tank is clean inside,throttle and choke move freely,i took a picture of the tach while it was running and got lucky for a secound and snapped a picture of the tach at  about five thousand rpms,clutch lever pulls in,tranni shifts threw all the gears good and i asked the seller if the tranni was good and he said yes,front brakes were dragging on the rotors so they had to be onbolted to move the bike,horn works,right turn signal works,left comes on but doesnt blink,headlite taillite and brake lite work,bike has a custom paint job and a touch up pen same color goes with also the tool kit,selling as is,buyer pays shipping and finds there own shipper not sure there prices i can meet them at my door and i dont really have the room to store the bike after the auction ends,paypal accepted as payment if your not local,i have a clear Title,auction may end early because a watcher on ebay might want to purchase the bike before the auction ends,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding Carl in forest lake minnesota 55025.

Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.

Following the success of its MT platform, Yamaha says it will continue to develop new models based on shared platforms, allowing for a choice of multiple models while reducing overall costs. Speaking in a presentation on the company’s business operation, Yamaha Motor President Hiroyuki Yanagi reiterated the strategy of developing multiple models sharing the same engine and frame. Honda has followed a similar strategy with its NC models, seeing the platform evolve to include the CTX700 and NM4.
