1971 Yamaha XS650 Low miles Very Clean (Boulder), $4,000, image 1

Yamaha XS description

Ok, I hate to do this but I need a new dirt bike and selling this bike seems the only way I can afford it. I have a very nice 1971 Yamaha xs650 (XS-1)(kick start only). This bike is almost original with very few miles and very clean. Miles are not known for sure because the odometer stopped working at 2000 mis but the guy I got it from says he put less then 1000mis on it and he bought it from the original owner who claims the miles where close to accurate. The tank and side covers where professional repainted. The shock covers and headlamp are original paint. Everything is in terrific condition and runs very well. O took it on a 100 mi ride a few weeks ago. It does have a very small oil leak but nothing major, it is over 40yrs old. I am not a professional on XS650's but from my understanding its almost all original except for the handle bars, rear fender chopped, rear taillight, removed turn signals and the air filters where replaced with air pods. This bike was professional tuned and dialed this summer. It rides like a dream. Here is your chance to get a very sweet ride. Clean and clean title in hand. Only $4000 firm, NO TRADES! Valentino Rossi Test Drives Kyle Busch’s NASCAR Toyota Camry

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

The morning after riding his Yamaha M1 to a sixth-place finish at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi landed in Charlotte, N.C., to race around another track; only this time there were no right turns. (UPDATED with additional photos.) Rossi met up with NASCAR racer and fellow Monster Energy-sponsored athlete Kyle Busch to ride Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch, winner of the last three Nationwide Series races, gave Rossi a walkaround of his car before taking the Yamaha factory rider around a few laps of the Charlotte  Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval.

Bazzer at Oulton by Niall Mac

There is no question that the BSB paddock has been split over the radical new points scoring system introduced for 2010. That said, no one can argue that the formula hasn't worked as we are in for the most exciting season end at the Oulton Park triple header on the 9th/10th of October. There may only be six riders in the final shoot out but there are at least another six that can win races, ultimately spoiling the party for the championship hopefuls.

Now Your Kid Can Ride Like Rossi!

Eight-time world motorcycle champion Valentino Rossi has created a new line of two-wheel funsters – except these bikes have no motors. Rossi teamed up with Italian company Cicli Adriatica to develop a line of children’s bicycles – the VR46 bike collection. With this line of children’s two-wheelers, you can now blame your child’s skinned knee of the famed Fiat Yamaha rider!
