This CB was properly stored by the original owner with engine fogging and the proper tank/carb storage preparation before his death. I purchased this motorcycle in October 2011 with 2,421 miles. It was in really good condition overall when I bought it, other than a few chips and scuffs in the paint. The restoration consisted of complete disassembly and all the parts were media blasted and painted with basecoat clear coat two-stage paint in the original Honda Scarlet Red. CB750k Runs and shifts perfect. All original with correct everything. Very clean bike with no rust or dents. HM431 (Stamped and OEM- no BS emissions reading) pipes are perfect, new and the real deal. Chrome is srtait w/ no obvious pitting. Motor was hand polished and is beautiful. Seat is new OEM Honda replacement. Paints still shines nice. Tank does have small touch up on right side where a chemical drip distorted the paint. Tank paint has been touched up (size of a quarter) at right side above "H" in Honda. The paint is also scuffed under the seat where it rubs on the tank. Bike does weep oil (a few drops ) after running at the connecting rubber hose that goes from oil fill tank to the lower. Got new plugs/oil/filters in July. Tires are nice but are slightly larger than stock. 1982 Honda CB900F Supersport Clean, modified supersport, FCR's, CBR wheels etc. etc. I have owned this bike since 2005. In 2008 I tore it completely down to the bare frame. The frame was media blasted and powder coated, along with a number of the bolt-on items; rear set backing plates, taillight mount etc. While the bike had always run well, I gave the engine a quick overhaul while it was out of the frame. The engine received a valve lap, new timing chain tensioners and a complete OEM gasket set including new head and base gaskets and new valve stem seals. A set of CB1100F cams were fitted during reassembly as the 1100F cams have a slightly hotter profile than the 900F units. A larger aftermarket oil coiler and braided oil cooler lines were also fitted. 1972 Honda CB350 K4 Twin - Excellent Condition (1972)
1972 CB350 K4 Here is a very nice 1972 CB350 K4 Twin in Honda’s “Light Ruby Red” color. This motorcycle has been treated to a thorough detailing, and looks outstanding. There are lower mileage CB350s out there, but few are as clean as this one. It is also very hard to find red CB350s that don’t have badly sun faded paint. The paint on this bike still is bright red. Even the red zone on the tachometer is still a deep shade of red. The side cover looks faded on top in the second photo. It isn't. My camera overloaded on the red in the sunshine. Mechanically, this CB350 runs great. It starts easily and settles into an even idle. It pulls well through the gears and stops smoothly. Headlight, taillight, brake light, turn signals, instrument lights, high beam indicator light and horn all work properly. New front and rear tires (and tubes) with a classic tread pattern have been installed. A new seat cover and strap in the correct Honda pattern was also installed. It will remain soft and flexible for many years to come. The gas tank is dent-free, but does have a few minor scratches. The side covers are free of cracks, but the left side cover has a noticeable scratch, about an inch long. The inside of the gas tank is very clean. The original petcock would not flow gas on the reserve position, so a new Honda petcock was installed. I am selling my 1976 Honda CB 400F Super Sport. The bike is a well-maintained survivor with just under 14,000 miles. The bike has always been garage-kept. I bought the bike from a collector in 2010; I rode it very occasionally and maintained it impeccably. Since I've had it, I've had the carbs rebuilt and synchronized. I've also replaced the shock seals and had the front brake master cylinder rebuilt. The tires (Avon Road Riders) are relatively new (under 500 miles). The chain was also replaced, and the battery is new this summer (Yuasa, of course!). All work was done with NOS Honda parts. While the bike looks incredible for its age, it is NOT perfect; after all, it is not a restoration. The bike does, however, have patina and character as any classic should! The bike does not have any significant flaws that detract from its appearance or value. The tank and exhaust have suffered no dents, and the engine is leak-free. The paint is in excellent condition. CARB Certifies 2015 Honda NC700X – Still No 750 Engine in Sight
Tue, 07 Oct 2014American consumers hoping Honda would replace its NC700X with the larger-displacement NC750X will be disappointed to know they might have to wait until the 2016 model year to get the 75cc engine upgrade. The California Air Resources Board has granted an executive for the 2015 Honda NC700X, certifying the motorcycle for sale in the state with the same 670cc engine displacement it had since being introduced in the 2012 model year. Now, this doesn’t mean Honda won’t decide to certify the 745cc engine after all; manufacturers resubmit and recertify models all the time, often replacing models are adding additional model using the same engine.
