Honda CB description

Up for sale is my Honda CB750 Cafe Racer. It has a clean alabama title. This is my daily rider and I'm only selling because my commute went from 30 minutes to 1 and a half hours so i need something less sporty which is sad. It runs great has a load of new parts and looks awesome. The bike has between 12 and 13k miles on it. I say between because i replaced the stock guages with aftermarket ones and it had about 11900 on it then and I've put a little over a thousand on it since.
I'll list the parts that are new (within the past year) that i can think of.
Battery, seat, upholstery, gas tank, carb boots, fuel lines, headlight, gauges, steering stabilizer, clip on bars, bar end mirrors, (19" wheels front and back (rear wheel is from a norton commando), brake pads and shoes, clutch cable, tail light, and all blinkers.
negatives.--The new tank is only new to this bike so its still 30 years old and although the paint is in pretty good shape the tank is a little rough meaning the body work isn't perfect (should be able to see in the pictures) but zero rust inside, very littled on the bottom and none on the outside and thats what i was looking for when i bought it.(the old tank sprung a leak because of rust. Also the speedo needle is a little bouncy.
Thats all that I can think of for now.

The bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to remove the auction from ebay if it sells.

Fri, 14 Jan 2011

Motorbike cognoscenti recognize the Vyrus name, the Italian brand producing exotic sportbikes based on the amazing hub-center-steered Bimota Tesi. The Vyrus story begins when Bimota filed for bankruptcy in the early 2000s. Vyrus principal Ascanio Rodorigo, a former Bimota employee, began producing his version of the Tesi after Bimota let its patents expire while it was in bankruptcy.

A 65-year-old man from Windsor, Ontario, Canada is attempting a cross-continent ride from Key West, Fla., to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and back, on a Honda CBR125R. Bob Munden of Windsor is attempting to set the record for the smallest motorcycle to make the trip from the southernmost accessible point in North America to the northernmost point, and back. A print shop owner with a stable of five motorcycles, Munden will attempt the trip on the 124.7cc single-cylinder four-stroke Honda CBR125R, an entry-level sportbike model Honda offers in Canada.
