1977 Honda Cb 750, completely redone frame off restoration/rebuild, 1975 tank, no key latch, new seal gasket, new/used gauges, Yamaha Radian 16 mag wheels, complete Radian front end, new fork seals, fresh oil and polished fork lowers, dual disc front rotors, solid motor with app 18k, polished engine covers, clip on handlebars, local body shop prepped and painted, red base coat with gold pearl overlay, 3 coats of clear, new solid state ignition, new sealed gel battery, new solid state rectifier/regulator, new dyna coils and wires, new plugs, new LED cat eye brake and tail light, new tri-bar halogen headlight, new aftermarket polished aluminum headlight mount ears, new aftermarket turn signals and relay, new MAC 4 into 4 chrome pipes, new Pireilli tires front and rear, rims painted silver inside, clear coated with polished outer edges, custom polished top clamp, cleaned, synced and re-jetted carburetors, polished carb bowls, new foam air filters, new ignition switch, new bar end mirrors, (actually changed to black convex since photos taken) gas tank cleaned and red coated, all new electrical and fuses, Triumph TT600 brake calipers and master cylinder, new throttle and clutch cables, new throttle sleeve and grips. This has been a 4 year project to revise and restore this bike to better than new condition. The bike starts, runs and rides with the best of them and gets compliments everywhere I ride it. It's reliable enough to head out to California and back tomorrow. Not a first timer here folks, I bought these bikes when they were brand new. I owned 2 CB550 and 2 CB750's. Having a Randy Mamola moment

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.

Honda to Sponsor and Compete in 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

American Honda announced it will be a partnering sponsor for the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb while also entering the competition, racing in nine different classes (well, seventh, plus “Exhibition” entries in both car and motorcycle categories). Honda R&D staff, engineers, test riders and drivers will compete in car, motorcycle and ATV categories. Honda will field a record ten entries in all, with nine different vehicles including the CBR1000RR, CBR600RR, CRF450R and CRF250R.
