This Auction is for a rare SURVIVOR an AMAZINGLY original factory racing Triumph T120TT Special,NEVER used or registered for street use ALWAYS used as a racer period. Here is the description I got from Paul Buccola who owned it for over 30 years. The Triumph started out life in 1966 as a 650cc TT Special as manufactured by the Triumph factory for use by Triumph of Burbank for Tourist Trophy Class C racing in the US.The bike was book marked for Dusty Coppage to ride who with Eddie Mulder were Jack Hately's Burbank De Triumph team riders but, Dusty Coppage did not like the handling of the new, for 1966, frame geometry and choose to ride a 1965 Triumph model instead .The bike was sold after the 1966 season to Donnie Harris who used it primarily at Ascot Park for junior TT racing.2016-10-19 04:40:31North Hollywood, California, United States122000 -

I'm selling my triumph T-140 bobber and as you can see everything has been touched if it's not painted it's chromed the motor was opened and completely gone through it runs as good as it looks !There is a lot of custom one off pieces that are fabricated welded and sent out to chrome the hard tail is a David bird 6" stretch with 2.5" drop all tig welded, PM rear brake caliper, All wiring runs through the frame as well as the return oiler line that feeds the top rockers, It has a boyer electronic ignition, 18" rear and 21" front tires the amazing paint was done by Headcase Customs in West Covina the bike won 1st place in Best Paint category at the David Mann show in Ventura no matter where you go it just grabs people's attention it's truly a beautiful bike I've just lost interest in ridding. Up for sale is one completely restored Cheney /Triumph 500 MX I was told there were less than 50 of these produced with the twin 500 I bought the bike 8 years ago from a guy here in California and was his fathers since new . It was negleted through the years and needed to be restored I took many pictures and took it all the way apart , Took original 1971 Triumph engine to Performance Cycle and had them completely rebuild the engine and transmission Cases and head were tumbled and covers were polished I have the original 2 into 1 down pipe and is in perfect shape and re chromed Frame and components were striped and nickel plated to orignal Hubs and akront rims were polished and laced up with stainless spokes from Buchanan INC.One fender was missing and the other was a plastic one I contacted Simon Cheney and he found new front and rear fenders , Tank decals , and some other small missing parts I needed . I pre-owned it as my primary means of trans to school and work during the early to mid 80s and had the bottom end and new pistons done by Bills Triumph in San Bernadino, Ca at 25k it has been garaged its whole life and last year I took it apart and polished every bolt washer and nut on it. I had the fenders, tank, side case and chain cover painted in orig colors and the painter researched the paint to get it just right. There is no full specification yet, but it is known that the motorcycle will be produced in two color options: silver and black.

According to the manufacturer, the engine control unit of some motorcycles may malfunction, due to which one of the fuel injectors will inject additional fuel into the engine cylinder. As a result, the engine will either not start or stall during operation due to excessive re-enrichment of the combustible mixture.

Major Updates Coming for 2015 Triumph Tiger 800
Thu, 09 Oct 2014Triumph is set to reveal some new updates to its Tiger 800 including a number of different versions making it either more highway or more off-road oriented. The both the Tiger 800XC and the less adventure-worthy Tiger 800 will see two new variants, with the Tiger 800 likely being rebranded as the Tiger 800XR. A newly-published executive order from the California Air Resources Board reveals the names for four new Tiger 800 variants known as the XCA (likely standing for XC Adventure), XCX, XRT (or XR Touring) and XRX.
