Super low miles. Custom matte black and matte silver paint. Fork gaiters. Clip-ons (cafe racer style handlebars). Fender eliminator kit, led lighting kit, wide rear wheel kit, D&D TT Race exhaust, D9 layflat bracket for tach and speedo. Exhaust is loud. Not soft, like most Triumph exhaust kits out. This one is awesome. Check out some of the youtube videos featuring the TT exhaust on the Thruxton. Fully repaired with exception of engine cover. I left the one scratched bit as a reminder/bit of character--like a scar that reminds you of what not to do again. Recall for 2011 Triumph Tiger 800, 800XC Accessory Center Stands
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Triumph is recalling accessory center stands for the 2011 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC because of a defective return spring. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the return springs on the accessory center stand for the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC may not always return to its original length, potentially leading to a loose center stand and a fracture in the spring wire. Riders may detect a rattling sound from the loose stand and in the case of a fractured spring, a scraping sound caused by the center stand dragging along the road.
2012 Triumph Speed Triple R Unveiled at EICMA
Tue, 08 Nov 2011Triumph’s legendary Speed Triple receives the ‘R’ treatment for 2012, which means it comes equipped with top-shelf parts like Öhlins suspension and Pirelli Supercorsa SP rubber. Judging from its looks alone, it’s plain to see that this is no ordinary Speed Triple. Triumph worked in close collaboration with Öhlins, to fine tune the NIX30 43mm fork and TTX36 shock to work specifically for the Speed Triple R.

Mon, 19 Apr 2010The Speed Triple sounds quite throaty with the standard pipes, on the overrun it pops and farts to its heart content but it could be louder. Also standard pipes are usually quite heavy, on the Triple they weigh 9.3kg!!! Triumphs preferred exhaust manufacture is Arrow and they offer side and under seat options as official Triumph accessories.
