      Here is a 1988 Yamaha YSR 50.  I have owned this for many years and used it as a pit bike when I raced Superbikes.  It starts and runs great. Back in the day I also had an R-1 street bike so I toyed with the idea of building a R-1/2 out of this YSR.  I bought all the parts, including decals but never got around to doing it.  I’m not sure if a lot of these parts are still available.  The bike has 438 true and honest miles and I have the original 0 miles title signed by the original Owner for it.  The bike was original and complete when I bought it.  I did make some changes to it,  but I kept all the original parts.  I have a ton of original and aftermarket parts for the bike that will go with it.  I do not want to sell parts,  I want it all to go as a package.

The rival of the BMW F800 GS/F 800 GS Adventure and the promising KTM 790 Adventure borrowed the 689cc inline-two from the Yamaha MT-07 and XSR700 (on these bikes it develops 74.8 hp and 68 Nm).

The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees. The engine is housed in a new aluminum frame based on the aforementioned YZ450F.
