1976 Honda CB (1976)
I am selling my 1976 Honda CB 400F Super Sport. The bike is a well-maintained survivor with just under 14,000 miles. The bike has always been garage-kept. I bought the bike from a collector in 2010; I rode it very occasionally and maintained it impeccably. Since I've had it, I've had the carbs rebuilt and synchronized. I've also replaced the shock seals and had the front brake master cylinder rebuilt. The tires (Avon Road Riders) are relatively new (under 500 miles). The chain was also replaced, and the battery is new this summer (Yuasa, of course!). All work was done with NOS Honda parts. While the bike looks incredible for its age, it is NOT perfect; after all, it is not a restoration. The bike does, however, have patina and character as any classic should! The bike does not have any significant flaws that detract from its appearance or value. The tank and exhaust have suffered no dents, and the engine is leak-free. The paint is in excellent condition. It runs as it should, and the transmission shifts perfectly through all the gears. I wouldn't hesitate to ride the bike anywhere.2016-08-28 04:42:51Johnstown, Pennsylvania, United States1312090 -

1982 Honda CB (1982)
1982 Honda CB900F Supersport Clean, modified supersport, FCR's, CBR wheels etc. etc. I have owned this bike since 2005. In 2008 I tore it completely down to the bare frame. The frame was media blasted and powder coated, along with a number of the bolt-on items; rear set backing plates, taillight mount etc. While the bike had always run well, I gave the engine a quick overhaul while it was out of the frame. The engine received a valve lap, new timing chain tensioners and a complete OEM gasket set including new head and base gaskets and new valve stem seals. A set of CB1100F cams were fitted during reassembly as the 1100F cams have a slightly hotter profile than the 900F units. A larger aftermarket oil coiler and braided oil cooler lines were also fitted. Valves have been checked and adjusted regularly and the oil and filter changed each season.2016-07-11 04:44:24Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, United States318072 -

Vintage 1981 Honda CB 750 Custom. Excellent unrestored condition. 7862 miles. Purchased from the original owner. I have the original setup checklist, sales receipt and 600 mile service record from Paul J. Hanafin Honda, Endicott, NY; purchased March 1982. I also have receipts for over $1,600 from work done at Binghamton Honda in November 2014. Carbs removed and sonic cleaned twice. Replaced air cut valves, float needles, and spark plugs. Synchronized carbs. Replaced stator, reg/rectifier, and rotor. The bike currently starts, runs, shifts, brakes as designed. Everything works properly. I do have the original owners manual and I am pretty sure the toolkit is in the bike. There is a sport windshield for it and the motorcycle is wired for a battery tender. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the motorcycle. I do have a trailer and would deliver the bike for an additional fee. It is a beautiful ride! ***Attention Honda Collectors*** 1972 Honda CB750-ONE OWNER!! Historically: Up for auction is this 1972 Honda CB750-Four . A little history lesson on the model. If you are bidding, YOU ALREADY KNOW. The incomparable Honda CB750-Four, introduced in 1969, is considered by most in the cycle world as the bike that changed the world culture of motorcycling. I remember being a kid and seeing these bikes on the road and they were some of the most beautiful bikes I have ever seen even to this date. Loud and mean, smooth as silk, and fast enough to outrun the headlights, these old motorcycles took the world by storm and weren’t even challenged until 1973. Cosmetically: All of the chrome is good t if you want a show bike, you may want to consider rechroming them. I love them as they are because they are original onlly once.2016-06-15 04:42:35Mercer, Pennsylvania, United States184388 -

***1971 Honda CB450*** (1971)
***1971 Honda CB450*** This bike was torn down to the bare frame and given a complete cosmetic make-over including powder-coating the frame and fenders, battery box, air-box, seat pan, tail light bracket, triple tree, and all other miscellaneous parts that were removed from the bike. All body work was color-matched as close to the Candy Glory Red as possible and received three coats of paint and six coats of Candy Clear. The stripe is painted and clear coated as well, not a sticker! All work was completed by Resurrections by Ray here in Mercer, Pa. The tires are BRAND NEW and have less than 10 miles on them. Starter was rebuilt as well. It will need some minor adjustments to the valves as they tick a little when the bike warms up. The bike runs great, goes through all the gears with no issue, all the electronics work as they should, and there are no wobbles, shimmies, or shakes. The fork boots and seat cover are new and I will include the strap and buckles for the seat with the bike. I have thousands of dollars invested in this restoration. If you are looking for a bike to professionally Café, this would make a great candidate-JUST LOOK AT IT!2013-10-21 00:15:44Mercer, Pennsylvania, US14,5202,010.00 -

MOTOGROTTO...THE VINTAGE AND CAFE MOTORCYCLE SHOP.SPECIALIZING IN PEACE OF MIND AND PURE MOTORCYCLING SATISFACTION EASTON PA 18040.610-749-0747 1975 HONDA CB750 in Flake Apricot Red 7270 miles Original Survivor.A friend of mine recently acquired this machine from the original owner a few years ago.It includes copies of the original invoice for the bike which sold for $2180+109.43 sales tax at Montgomery cycle in 1975.The bike has had the carbs serviced and starts right up idles nicely and runs very well. The tires maybe original and must be replaced as they have flat spots on them from sitting with low pressure for some time in the same spot. They hold air enough to roll the bike onto a shipper however. There is some patina on the bike's brightwork but there are few if any dings. There is a small ding in the tank on the left side too small to photograph. The front brake caliper leaks and needs a new seal.I may not get to this by the time the auction ends so you may have to.The seal is $16.The brake light is stuck on probably the brake light sensor. There are no cracks in the plastic sidecovers. The bike has the ignition switch relocation kit mounted on the handlebar so you don't grab a handful of hot header pipe where it was mounted close to from the factory. The exhaust is in nice shape and has the factory stamping. This bike is very much original and a great vintage ride with plenty of power and a brand new battery.YouTube video coming soon. There is no rust inside the gas tank.It is cherry. The headlight and turn signals work as well as the speedometer odometer and tachometer. The neutral light in the dash does not work,a bulb perhaps.Kick starter works. The photos and the video tell the story.2013-10-03 22:34:05Easton, Pennsylvania, US7,2701,325.00

On paper, it’s a simple idea—let the computer handle the shifting so the rider can just twist the throttle and go. In practice, it makes a full-size motorcycle behave more like an oversized, high-powered scooter.

These are machines born of obsession, built not for compromise but for the pursuit of speed itself — mechanical expressions of purpose that seize a rider’s mind with outrageous power figures and razor-edged intent. Draped in shimmering bodywork and racing colors, they look fast standing still, daring even the most risk-averse among us to tuck behind the bubble.

The BIG Difference Between the Honda CB750 Hornet and the CB1000 SP
Tue, 09 Sep 2025Tom Roderick spent a day riding the CB1000 Hornet SP and then another on the CB750 Hornet—having the chance to ride the bikes back-to-back makes the differences between the two clear. The 1000 uses an inline four-cylinder with roots in the CBR1000RR, a motor that thrives on revs and rewards a committed hand. It comes wrapped in premium suspension, brakes, and electronics, making it a serious tool when the pace rises and the road opens up.

Since the departure of Honda’s shaft-driven sport-tourers, such as the ST1300 and VFR1200F, Big Red has been out of the road-focused sport-touring game, while aiming much of its efforts at the ever-popular ADV market via its versatile Africa Twin CRF1000L platform. Well, those of the tarmac riding persuasion have a new ST machine to ponder in the NT1100, which borrows core components from the recently revamped Africa Twin range, including its frame, six-axis IMU-supported rider aids, 1,084cc Parallel-Twin engine, and semi-automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission.

With the 2025 Hornet 750, Honda hit the midimalism bullseye. Riding it back to back with the larger CB1000 Hornet SP, the 750 lacks the performance and higher-quality components of its sibling, but it's also a much better all-day mount.

Tue, 10 Jun 2025Replacing the CB1000R with a sharper stinger Photos by Align Media The 2025 CB1000 Hornet SP retails for $10,999. During the Hornet’s press introduction held in California’s capital, Sacramento, Honda representatives confirmed that the bike is built in Japan. A few days later, discussing the Hornet SP with my friend and former MO chief editor, Kevin Duke, he was skeptical, thinking it had to be manufactured in a less-expensive-to-produce country, and rightly so.

2025 Honda NT1100 DCT Review – First Ride
Thu, 22 May 2025Big Red finds its sport-touring roots in the NT1100 DCT Photos by Simon Cudby. Amongst a sea of ADV and ADV-adjacent offerings, there is a Stateside sect of riders who opine for a roadgoing all-arounder – those doe-eyed hopefuls wave a hearty checklist in hand: sporting ability, touring necessities, and affordability neatly assembled in this carefully balanced package.
