You are bidding on a 1973 Honda CB 500/4, Bike has been in a heated basement since 1992, I have no time to get bike running, all lights work, bike started but carbs, need cleaned, throttle is free. Tires are good, electric start works, paint is great, seat perfect exhaust has holes as pictured, chrome is in perfect condition, wires and cables in near perfect condition. You are bidding on a 44 year old "as-is" motorcycle, know your limits. Please ask questions, make sure you have the money before you purchase.
The CB500K2 "500 Four" (also called "Super Sport 500") was sold in 1973 in one of three colors: Candy Bucchus Olive with Black, Flake Sunrise Orange with Black, or Maxim Brown Metallic with Black. The gas tank panel was black. The instruments were enlarged and tilted toward the rider. The exhaust was a 4-into-4 system. The engine was a 498cc SOHC inline 4-cylinder with 4 carburetors. The transmission was a 5-speed. The serial number began CB500-2100001. |

Like the NC700S, the 2012 Honda NC700X is powered by Honda’s new 670cc parallel Twin engine. Honda designed the engine to be highly efficient, with optimal performance at speeds up to 87 mph and the engine revving up to 6000 rpm, a range Honda’s research found accounts for 90% of an average commuter’s uses.

Yamaha Tops Second Day of Sepang Test as Honda Twiddles Thumbs
Wed, 29 Feb 2012Ben Spies topped the time sheets ahead of teammate Jorge Lorenzo as Yamaha continued its MotoGP pre-season testing in Malaysia. While their rivals at Honda were idled by an engine problem, the two factory Yamaha riders found improvement on their Day One times and gathered data about riding in both wet and dry conditions. Spies set the best lap time at 2:01.285 while testing different chassis settings in the morning.
