Even so the Daytona 675 can be ridden without any problems for approximately 200 miles and that is just when you test ride it, and not get the best out of it every weekend.Wind protection is excellent considering the small screen and the narrowness given by the compact engine and chassis really contribute at the way you handle the machine.

    Excellent condition Triumph Daytona 955i, no missing parts or scratches.  Small hairline crack by windscreen on nose fairing. Original owner was a very close friend of mine who sold me bike with 3000 miles.  I have since maintained this bike routinely with Mobil One Fully Synthetic Motorcycle oil and Triumph oil filters.  End of last season maintenance included new triumph air filter, spark plugs, new sprockets, new chain, flushed coolant system, new front brake pads. I have passenger seat and original manual for bike.  Minor modifications include clear LED taillight, D&D slip on exhaust, clear turn signals, tinted wind screen, and side mount liscence plate.  This bike Runs and Sounds Great!

This is the Triumph Speed Twin Concept, a bike commissioned by Triumph to show what the Bonneville might have evolved into, in a parallel universe. I love the concept. Designed by Roy Norton and Tom Kasher who were on a placement at a design studio, I get the impression the pair are into motorcycle and not just designers.

Twin-Engined Triumph Rocket Streamliner To Challenge Motorcycle Land-Speed Record At Bonneville

The 1,000-horsepower Castrol Rocket is currently undergoing testing for its upcoming assault on the land speed record of 376.156 mph, set in 2010, by Rocky Robinson with the Ack Attack streamliner. The goal: a 400-mph-plus record-breaking run. The 25-foot long x 2-foot wide x 3-foot high streamliner was constructed in cooperation by Hot Rod Conspiracy and Carpenter Racing and will compete in the Division C (Streamlined) – Type V (5) Spark Ignition, Over 2,000cc to 3,000cc class. Powering the Rocket are two heavily modified Triumph Rocket III engines. Each Carpenter Racing built engine was reduced from 2,294cc to 1,485cc (2,970cc total) to meet the 3,000cc maximum total displacement class rule requirement. While piston size remains the same stock 4-inch bore, stroke was reduced from 3.75 inches to 2.4 inches and redline increased from 5,750 rpm to 9,000+ rpm. There’s also one Garrett GT2876R ball bearing, liquid-cooled turbocharger per engine.

The CARB document, dated March 14, identified the new model as the Triumph America Horizon. Based on the name and Triumph’s current product offerings, we inferred the new model would be a new touring variant of the 865cc America cruiser.

Triumph Motorcycles Arriving in India in November

It’s a year behind schedule, but Triumph announced it will introduce its motorcycles to India by November. The British manufacturer had been gearing up for an Indian launch for over two years now, initially planning to enter the market in 2012. No reasons were given for the delay, and the sudden departure of Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Ashish Joshi didn’t help, but Triumph finally appears ready to start up operations in India.
