Full ground up restoration:
Re-bore new Pistons and rings
Crank/Pistons/Conrods dynamically balanced Sludge trap cleaned, new big end shells and big end regrind.
New valves, valve springs.
New clutch basket and clutch roller bearings.
New carburetors (Amal Monobloc)
New header pipes and mufflers
New battery, wiring Harness
New high output alternator
New control cables
New Boyer electronic ignition (New 6v Coils)
Reconditioned tachometer and speedometer
New oil pump (Spin on Norton oil filter fitted)
Every seal and bearing replaced (in the Engine and in the frame)
Respray all frame parts and tank/Fenders to original factory color.
New seat and seat foam
Original tool kit
New tires, and final drive chain
Pink slip in hand tags until June 2017
500 miles since complete restoration receipts for over $7000, I also have manuals and restoration photographs.

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

Racer, inventor and amputee, Mike Schultz, is the subject of a mini-documentary produced by Royal Purple. Schultz, a championship racer with an impressive list of wins under his belt, is a pioneer in the field of adaptive action sports. The five minute documentary, Part of Royal Purple’s Outperformer series, tells Schultz’ story, including the motivations that drove him to triumph following a devastating accident; inspiring others to return to extreme sports following potentially career ending injuries; and how he became one of the best in his field both as a racer and inventor.
