Makes a good conversation piece.It has new tires----------new chain---------new battery------------new paint on tank and side covers.The tank and side covers just came back from paint shop. Honda 750k project that I just finished.I have been riding and fooling with motorcycles for over 50 yrs. Last year for the single overhead cam series(SOHC) .....all totally unmolested, unrestored and original.....the black F series had more performance than previous models with larger valve set at improved angle and a racier cam for better breathing.............5 speed trans and triple disc brakes. this bike was traded in at a Honda dealer in Saskatchewan Canada in the mid 80's and it sat on a display shelf untill the early nineties when I purchased it and since then has sat in heated storage.Before it went on display the gas tank and carbs were drained and some oil poured into each cylinder.A couple of times a year the engine was kicked over several times to keep an oil film on the cylinder walls but it has not been started .You would be responsible to get it up and running if that was your desire. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.
