1954 PANHEAD, STRAIGHT LEG FRAME, SPRINGER FRONT END (1954)
1954 Harley Davidson Panhead, with matching transmission, etc in a straight leg aftermarket frame, springer front end, king/queen seat and upswept pipes, sissy bar. Also has mousetrap clutch lever. Has front wheel to make it a roller but will need correct wheel and brake, if desired. Purchased off ebay but no time to complete. Heads are prefect except mod for different intake, no broken or cracked fins. Has clear Florida Title as 1954 Harley Davidson. All numbers match including the bottom of cases and the right side has the VIN number also. Also included a picture of title. The perfect winter project for bike week 2014. Thanks for looking. Selling my pride and joy, a 1961 Pan Head. I bought this baby because she my birth year and I always wanted a 1961 Pan but unfortunately I just had to undergo major back surgery and my kick starting days are now over. She is mostly original with the period correct upgrades you’d expect to see on Pan Head. Those familiar with Pan’s will quickly spot the upgrades/items that are not correct: It has been converted over to a 12 volt system, S&S carburetor for enhanced starting and drivability and a dry belt primary (no more drive chain oiler leaking everywhere). She has a fresh professionally done paint job (everything stripped, repaired, tanks cleaned resealed and pressure tested) bringing her back to the original paint scheme. Tue, 19 Aug 2014The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
