Harley-Davidson Motorclothes Turns to 3M For Conspicuous Riding GearMon, 18 Aug 2014
Motorcyclists should always be concerned with their conspicuity. Never is this more important than in the rain or after dark where vision is severely limited. The Motorclothes division of Harley-Davidson decided highlight its riding gear – literally.
First, 3M’s Scotchlite Reflective Material was chosen because of the extremely high percentage of light returned to its source when compared to other material. What that means to riders is that their riding gear will light up in car headlights to a claimed distance of “up to 500 feet.” When added to Motorclothes typically high-quality construction, the reflective gear will keep Harley riders on the road safely and with a style to match their motorcycles. Look for these products at your local Harley-Davidson dealer or online at www.h-d.com/store.
