Triumph Daytona description

For your consideration:
Triumph Daytona 955i Silver, Year 2000
NO RESERVE
I am the third owner.  Bike is a Triumph Classic and runs great.
New Give Away Price, end of Summer sale because I need room in my garage, down to only 8 bikes, LOL!

Some Extras:
Showa forks adjustable
Race Tech front fork springs
Headlight off switch
Upright handlebars like Heli for long distance comfort

Missing:
Front signals, but probably will install some flush-mounts before end of auction, I will post pictures after to show.
Fairing:
Bike was dropped in a garage and left side was damaged.  Previous owner removed all of the lower fairings and belly pan to even things out.
This looked pretty ugly to me so I invested in the aftermarket Sharskinz and had it painted silver.  The fairing fits but stands out about 1/2" from where
it should mate with the headlight.
Transmission:
Bike runs through it gears perfectly, clutch is perfect in my opinion.
Maintenance:
I really don't know what was performed on the bike,  It runs excellent, it starts every time no problems. Good Battery.

2014 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Concourse d’ Elegance Report

Wed, 06 Aug 2014

The 2014 edition of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show continued its now 23-year tradition as the premier outdoor streetbike event in America with producer photographer Jim Gianatsis moving the show this year to the beautiful green lawns of the Malibu Golf Course among the twisty canyon roads in the Santa Monica Mountains alongside the Pacific Ocean. Highlighting this year’s exciting activities was the emergence of another new and soon to be renown custom bike builder to the sport for which the Calendar Show is known for cultivating. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / ImagineVehicles.com motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.

2015 Triumph 250 Preview

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

With all the new motorcycles Triumph presented earlier this month at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, we were hoping to see the company’s new 250cc models. Unfortunately, the new small-displacement Triumph models (which made our list of Top 10 Motorcycles to Watch For at EICMA) were not yet ready to be revealed, though Triumph did offer us a glimpse of what to expect, with a sketch of its 250 sportbike. At Milan, the company referred to the sportbike as “Triumph’s New 250″, though it will get a proper name when it’s officially, presented as a 2015 model, likely at next year’s EICMA show or at Intermot in Cologne, Germany.

Rain Forces Triumph Castrol Rocket Team To Look To Bonneville 2015

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Photo courtesy Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout (landspeedevents.com) Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout streamliner runs were rescheduled for this weekend, October 4–5, after wet conditions earlier in the month prevented the runs on the long course required to run at these speeds.
