Triumph Daytona description

Selling a 2008 Triumph Daytona 675Tornado Red color. Clean/Original title with NO marks for flood or other damages. Actual mileage of 18,862 miles on the odometer.

Includes:
-One key.
-Two Brothers slip-on exhaust installed with exhaust wrap on the pipes.
-Smoked integrated taillight.
-Gel seat.
-Keyless gas cap.
-I'll throw in a new battery (as I have an extra) if the offer is good.

Bike has been cleaned thoroughly (body, engine, chain) and lubed appropriately. It could use a buffing as most used bikes do, but it looks good. Engine runs great and the exhaust sounds excellent. The air filter has been cleaned and the oil and oil filter have been changed recently. Just needs a new owner as I have purchased a Ducati 748 for myself. This is a great bike (and/or track bike) for anyone who is looking to upgrade to something with more power (very good on torque). Ditch the under powered bike and get this! You'll definitely be happy and won't be disappointed on the corners as it's slim and light and thus easy to lean. It's ready to ride, so all you'd have to do is register it and you're on the road!

Asking for $5,300 but it is negotiable. KBB value is $5,905. Send me a reasonable offer, no low-balling please.

MPG or BHP?

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

If you were a child of the seventies, you may remember Craig Vetter’s name from his previous work as a stylist (Triumph Hurricane) or his huge fairing business, Vetter Fairings.  Since then, the 69 year-old industrial designer has become obsessed by fuel consumption - or rather highlighting how poor motorcycles are delivering impressive figures. He originally ran a series of fuel challenges in the eighties and now the economy has taken a nose dive, he has resurrected the competition, figuring that the time is now right to highlight these issues again. According to Vetter, three of every four American gallons of petrol is imported – reason enough to devote his time to raising awareness.

Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.
