A Near Perfect Example of a Kings Mountain Chief

A special Indian indeed... Exceptional Kings Mountain Chief Deluxe. Own a piece of Indian History and have a blast on this rare motorcycle...

This is a very rare Kings Mountain built Chief Deluxe. Each of these motorcycles were built by hand by two artisans, one at a time. The fit and finish of these motorcycles is legendary and the quality shines throughout.

Just over 1100 Indian Chiefs were built from 2009 through 2013, with the last two years being built in Spirit Lake, Iowa by Polaris. The fact the Polaris continued to build the same motorcycle as the craftsmen in North Carolina, goes a long way to show the quality of these desirable motorcycles.

This rare Chief Deluxe has the Optional, 'Long Fenders', Optional Tan Leather, Optional Roadmaster Saddlebags, Optional Quick detachable Windshield, Stage 1 Exhaust and more...

Powered by the then newly designed Power Plus 105, these engine are powerful and dependable. The transmission is a famous Baker 6-speed and the leather was hand stitched by the same folks that built Indian’s leather in the 1930’s. Service parts are not an issue for this bike, remember that Polaris built the later years and will supply service parts for years to come.

This Chief is incredibly rare and is in remarkable condition, come by and see it yourself. A true historically significant work of art. As with all of our Indian Motorcycle’s we ship anywhere with our careful motorcycle transporters. We also can offer financing on the Chief for as long as 72 months WAC. Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Here’s an opportunity to own motorcycles associated with Steve McQueen and Von Dutch - need we say more? Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.

Vespa Arrives in India

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

Piaggio has launched its Vespa brand in India, introducing the iconic scooter to the world’s second-largest two-wheeler market. When we think of motorcycle in India, we tend to think of low-cost small displacement motorcycles and scooters. That’s beginning to change with the influx of larger displacement models commonly found in other markets.

1916 Indian Board Track Racer

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

The simplicity of this 1916 Indian Board Track Racer is what makes it so beautiful. Board Track was popular during the early part of the 20th century where cars and motorcycles competed at these stadiums where the surface was composed of wooden boards. It was an idea copied from velodromes used across Europe for bicycle racing and ultimately led to the oval racing phenomenon - like NASCAR - that still captivates Americans today.
