Harley-Davidson panhead description

Up for auction is this RARE 1952 Harley Davidson FL Panhead POLICE Motorcycle.  I have owned this motorcycle for 20 years and have fully restored it.  The motor was rebuilt approx. 5 years ago and has 10,000 miles on it. And it has 52 miles on a fresh top end rebuild with standard bore, new pistons and valve job!  It has all the correct POLICE equipment on it...NOS  Police fan cooled generator.  NOS Police voltage regulator and mounting brackets, as well as correct NOS shielded wiring harness from regulator to generator. Police ignition coil, rear wheel operated Police siren!  The paint is in excellent condition for being 19 years old.  Fuel tanks are original, along with Speedometer, Guide Spot Lights, Rear Tombstone Tail Light, as well as T3 headlight bulb.  Also has 98% correct CP 1038 Hardware.  The fenders, handle bars and windshield lexean glass are all reproductions.  This 1952 FL Panhead Police Motorcycle  RUNS, SHIFTS AND RIDES EXCELLENTLY!!

For more information I can be reached at (630) 439-6000.  Thanks, Keith.

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

The Street 750 and Street 500 from Harley-Davidson represent the first all-new platform from Harley-Davidson in 13 years. Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S.
