I'm selling my 2009 Buell 1125CR. I don't want to sell her, but I've got to do it.
She is in fantastic condition. HMF pipe, racing ECM, seat has been reupholstered with gel (MUCH more comfortable than the stock seat), and high-rise handlebars. I have taken off the rear seat, pegs, etc, and also installed a custom 'tidy-tail'. The rear seat, etc, will be included, as well as the stock exhaust and stock handlebars. It really is hard to describe what a wonderful bike this is unless you have a lot of riding experience and you have ridden a Buell, like mine, before. This is a VERY nice bike. Here is a video so you can see how well she starts and how she sounds. I have her listed for sale, locally, also; therefore, I reserve the right to end this auction early and without notice. Erik Buell Racing Secures $20 Million in Foreign Investments
Fri, 20 Jul 2012Erik Buell Racing has received a $20 million injection from investors. The increased funding is expected to expand the company’s product line and create about 200 jobs. The investment comes through the somewhat fittingly-named “EB-5” program, a product of the Immigrant Act of 1990 designed to encourage investment in American companies by potential immigrants.
Mac Motorcycles
Thu, 28 May 2009British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.
Erik Buell Racing to Attend Motodays Fiera Roma
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Erik Buell Racing is continuing to expand its European presence by appearing at Motodays Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s largest motorcycle trade shows. Held March 6-9 in Rome, Motodays will be an important event for EBR’s plans to establish a European dealer network. EBR opened its first European office last month in the Netherlands, but Motodays will be the European motorcycle show debut of the company and its 1190RX sportbike.
