Buell 1125R description

No Reserve.  This is going to sell.  Buell 1125 CR Naked bike upright. Excellent condition.  This is a fine example of Erik Buell's dewsign... stock 1125 CR with the upgraded stator and rotor by EBR ($600), upgraded upright handlebars, ($500 - stock lower bars also included). Brand new Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires ($435 mounted). Brand new Yuasa battery.  Excellent condition. No Leaks. A few minor hard to see scuffs on the rear hard seat cover. One small scuff (approx 1/4") under the engine case on a small replaceable round case protector where I parked it and it rubbed against a low wall (didn't replace it cause you can't see it unless on your belly) . Fresh Mobil synthetic Twin oil. Pulls like a freight train, handles awesome with Erik Buell's engineering and in frame gas tank.  Smooth engine, tight chassis. Very adjustable. I'm thinning my bike collection yet this has been one of my favorites. Wind is managed by good body design.  Everything correct with this bike, I'd ride it cross country in a heart beat. Always roars to life, first push of the starter. If you like unusual rides with amazing engineering and torque forever... this is your bike. Took me 9 months to locate a good one with low miles and excellent condition. This is it. Best engineering, best performance and most unusual bike for the money IMHO. Remember when shopping for 1125's make sure the stator and rotor is upgraded or you could have issues. This bike is ready to roll. You wont be disappointed.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

Erik Buell Racing Streetbike Peers Out of the Darkness with LED Headlight

Fri, 09 Aug 2013

Erik Buell Racing released another teaser image of its upcoming new production streetbike, revealing a new headlight design with twin LEDs. The teaser image (see the full image below) is thick with shadows so we can’t see very much else beyond the front tire, part of an upside-down fork and a glint of a brake lever. The headlight however is the clear focal point of the photograph.
