test Harley-Davidson Other description

You are bidding on a 1983 Harley Davidson Tour Glide Classic. This bike is the precursor to the Street Glide. Originally this bike came with the shovel head motor, but somewhere down the line a evo was put in. The evo 88" is super nice, smooth, reliable, and has some power. The turn signal lights in the fairing are factory and look a lot like the FXR fairings that are out there. The seat is a Mustang aftermarket seat, has a slight backrest on it but not much. Since I have owned the bike I have taken it on short trips and thousand mile trips with no problems, gets great milage too. Service done has been oil changes, carb work, full trans rebuild, fork seals, some electrical work, and a battery. Its cold blooded but once started it will hot start no problem. It still has the OE CV carb, not an S&S thats just the air cleaner. All the gauges and lights work, even has a 1/8th jack for audio in and speakers in the fairing. The 12v lighter works for charging. This is not a show bike, there are chips but no dents. Some of the chrome on the plastic pieces is coming off. Some love marks on the boxes, and the box has been cut for the battery. The boxes are repop, but work great, are water tight and lock. Has a clean title. This was my first Harley, but have owned a Dyna and an FXR while owning this one. This bike is easier to ride than the others that I have owned, more comfortable and handles almost better than the FXR. Unfortunately, my KTM gets more attention now and its time to let this great bike go to a home where it will be ridden more. Please message me for more info and pics. This bike is located in Bend Oregon. Will ship on your dime.
