    My younger son started off on a Yamaha TTR90 and his 2nd bike was the  KTM SX65, bought  in 2010; which bike he rode  for the next 4 years, when he started riding a Honda CRF 150. The KTM is a great 2nd stage bike with a clutch for a young rider. Its not a beginner's bike since it has a clutch and for its size has a nice amount of power. Its a 2 stroke and leaks oil but starts up and runs.

Bike runs and rides flawlessly, changed oil every ride and cleaned air filter, changed oil filters every three or four rides. These early rfs engines are bulletproof, great for supermoto.

Recently, KTM has unveiled an updated flagship in the RC lineup. According to the new EU requirements, the motorcycle engine now meets the strict environmental requirements of Euro-4 and a couple of innovations were added to the design. The redesigned exhaust system will now end with a classic muffler facing the right side of the bike.

A partially disguised touring bike that is based on a charged naked KTM 1290 Super Duke R has been accidentally discovered while testing in Spain. According to rumors, the novelty will be called 1290 Super Duke Gran Turismo. The bike is powered by the same 1301cc powerplant as the 1290 Super Duke R and 1290 Super Adventure.

From an EnduroCross press release: Factory Beta and Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb took a decisive win tonight in Salt Lake City’s inaugural AMA GEICO EnduroCross event. The win was Webb’s second after taking the first round victory in Las Vegas and puts him and his Beta two-stroke 300 into the points lead. The race fans in attendance at the Energy Solutions Arena saw a night go almost perfectly for GEICO-supported Webb.

This weekend the EnduroCross championship makes its way to Denver and the National Events Center for the fifth round of the nine-round series. Truckloads of dirt, mountains of rock and piles of logs are coming together to create an EnduroCross course that’s sure to challenge racers and entertain fans.  Excitement will be a mile-high this weekend as the EnduroCross Championship puts three different race winners into an epic battle for valuable points before the halfway point in the series. Beta/GEICO-backed Cody Webb has led since his first round victory in Las Vegas, but KTM’s five-time champion Taddy Blazusiak is hot on his heels after a big win at the last round in Atlanta and at X-Games. And don’t count out Colton Haaker.

After a lengthy testing period, the KTM Freeride E electric off-road motorcycle is finally heading to market, with KTM announcing two versions for 2015. First revealed at the 2011 EICMA show in Milan, the Freeride E has undergone a lot of testing at off-road parks around Europe. From this prolonged development period, KTM will now bring to market the Freeride E-SX motocrosser and the street-legal E-XC enduro.
