* Great condition 2005 Yamaha YZF R-1 at 16,503 miles * Clean title * 2nd owner purchased at roughly 12,000 miles * One drop, scratches on bar end, engine bar, and engine guard from a low slide (images detail damage) * Stored in the garage year round * Sorry but I don't have the service history documentation, but any replacements or service are listed below. I have the bike go in for general inspection at the start of every riding season. * Selling because I'm looking for switching to a classic as I'm riding less aggressive these days. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.

Greg Tracy to Ride Amarok P1A Electric Sportbike for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Canada’s Amarok Racing has secured quite a coup in signing six-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Greg Tracy to ride its P1A electric superbike for the 2013 edition of the event. Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.
