EICMA 2013: Yamaha Reveals the Tricity

The Tricity is a LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) scooter aimed at folks who previously may not have considered a two-wheeled alternatives to public transportation. The final installment in the three-part series is set to release tomorrow. Set in Tokyo, Japan in the year 2017, three years before the city’s hosting of the 2020 Olympic Games, the show focuses on the exploits of three young motorcyclists and highlights Yamaha’s FZ-09 and FZ-07.

Fri, 14 May 2010Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.
