Yamaha XT description

1995 Yamaha XT225 Sports Bike Motor Cycle -- On/Off RoadI have 2 sports bikes for sale. Will sell separately at $2400 each or both for $4500. I purchased these bikes new in 2005 for myself and my son and taught him to dirt bike. These are in great/perfect condition with very little miles (one has 1300mis and the other has 1500 mis on it). I have installed a new $95 battery in each and have completely rebuilt the gas system from tank to carburetor. Both bikes run perfect and there is nothing wrong with them. Everything works. Call The XT225 was built for those who want a versatile on/off-road machine that's easy on the pocket book, and easy to handle.General info Model: Yamaha XT 225yr: 2005 Category: Allround Price as new (MSRP): US$ 4099.Engine and transmission Displacement: 223.00 ccm (13.61 cubic inches) Engine type: Single cylinder, four-stroke Compression: 9.5:1 Bore x stroke: 70.0 x 58.0 mm (2.8 x 2.3 ins) Fuel system: Carburetor Fuel control: SINGLE OVERHEAD CAMSHAFT Cooling system: Air Gearbox: six gear Transmission type, final drive: Chain Chassis, suspension, brakes and wheels Rake (fork angle): 24.0° Front suspension: Telescoping fork Front suspension travel: 226 mm (8.9 ins) Rear suspension: Swingarm w/rebound-adjustable single shock Rear suspension travel: 191 mm (7.5ins) Front tire dimensions: 2.75-21 Rear tire dimensions: 120/80-18 Front brakes: Single disc Front brakes diameter: 220 mm (8.7 ins) Rear brakes: Expanding brake (drum brake) Rear brakes diameter: 110 mm (4.3ins) Physical measures and capacities Seat height: 810 mm (31.9 ins) If adjustable, lowest setting. NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.
