Yamaha WR description

This WR250R is in pristine condition. Fully working, no problems. Turn key ready. I replaced the fuel pump the 2008 model was notorious for. So no worries there. Kept fully stock besides GYTR exhaust. Minor scratches. Nothing that is deal breaker that would take away from the bike. I would of shown it in the pictures. The WR250R is for riders who ride off-road and on-road. The world is your playground. Nothing is off limits. That's what I love this bike.

The WR250R achieves fuel economy up to an estimated 71 mpg. The wheels are the original silver and no they are NOT aftermarket wheels. I used PLASTIDIP on them. The black is easily removable. If you never used plastidip, you just peel away when you are tired of looking at the current color and start over. Look it up. So if you don't like the black, you can peel it right off and you'll have silver. Same goes with the panels on the sides and side fork covers.. They are white underneath but I PLASTIDIP those too. Very easy just to peel them off and start fresh with white. I just like the black because to me, it looked more aggressive. But if you wish, you can peel it off very easy.

I didn't abuse this bike. I took it very easy with this bike and it has treated me very well in return. I would be keeping it if I didn't have a baby boy on the way.So I am taking my life down a notch. I don't want any accidents as I want to be here for my son. I do not have the owners manual. I did buy a membership with cyclepedia. An online manual with videos. If I sold the bike to you, I could give you my membership login and access. It's free for forever , so you don't have to worry about paying. It did not come with it when I purchased it at the Ford dealership. I am the second owner. I didn't put much miles on the bike because I didn't plan on having a kid. This bike can be tagged, and you won't have a problem tagging it.

Clean title and no liens. The chain is free of rust and is in very good shape. No problems here as it was kept in the garage most of the time. They say there was a recall on the 08' with the stator coil but thats not a problem because if there was, you just call up Yamaha, ask them and they replace it for you for FREE by Federal Law so know your rights. I never had to replace and it ran fine for me.

Plenty of life still on both the front and rear tire so you don't have to worry about replacing them. They are going for another couple of thousand miles It also comes with Craftsman Motorcycle Jack and ATV Lift. I love this lift. Acts as a jack stand when you need to maintenance the bike and when not in use, keep it as a stand.

Any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you. You are responsible for shipping and setting it up. I am not responsible for it.

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
