Yamaha Other description

Overall it is excellent condition. Odometer shows 39,614 miles or about 1,250 miles use per year for 31 years. Good tires, good seat. The bike is fully complete and mostly original (has aftermarket black pull back handlebars, new adjustable rear shocks and aftermarket mirrors). Bike does not appear to have ever been wrecked or damaged. Have Free and Clear Idaho Title for it. This is a shaft drive model, so no greasy chain mess to maintain and clean.

NADA shows the value of this Yamaha XJ650Jcc 4 cylinder road bike at $2,195 for Excellent condition. Tires excellent with about 60-70% tread, seat is like new. chrome is excellent, exhausts excellent. Overall in superb condition.

Just tuned by professional mechanic. Extremly fast and nimble. New front brake pads and new battery. This is an excellent running and riding motorcycle. Super sharp looking and good mechanical condition. This is a DOHC 4 cylinder, 4 carb bike that has a lot of get up and go!

The gas tank and both side covers were just custom painted in blue NEON metallic color with base coat/clear coat by top quality painter. Emblems were removed, but come with the bike. It comes with a Haynes Worshop manual and has all spccs for the XJ650J four cylinder.

This motorcycle has been very well maintained by prior owners. It has been kept indoors and is a sharp motorcycle with 31 years of TLC. I use non-ethanol premium fuel in this motorcycle. Hoping to get close to NADA book value, but no reserve after minimum bid is met.

(208)345-1400 Kurt. Please call if you have any questions about the condition of anything on the cycle.

MotoVentures, the long-running (since 1998) dirt bike riding instruction company is changing its name from simply MotoVentures to the more descriptive Dirt First by MotoVentures. The new moniker more appropriately describes the company’s training activities and philosophy about the best way to learn how to ride a motorcycle begins in the dirt. “Our Dirt First training curriculum is very practical with no ceiling or limitations,” says MotoVentures President, Gary LaPlante. ”Our highly qualified, well-trained instructors are capable of teaching everyone from kids to adults and beginners to experts.

Air time Kenny Roberts-style

I can’t get enough of pictures that capture a specific, hard to define moment; the successful encapsulation of the absolute balls-to-the-wall, life or death commitment that riding a motorbike as fast as possible involves.  We all know. We’ve all been there – even if it’s only a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Maybe (for us mere mortals) it’s that rapidly, yet unexpectedly, tightening left-hand bend with a shitty, mud-covered veneer just at the apex.
