Stunning bike with all the best features of a traditional cafe racer
This is a beautiful RD 250 cafe racer. The rebuild has just been finished. Nice pearlescent red paint. New shocks. New exhaust system. New headlight. Custom gauges. New seat. Fender eliminator with LED rear light.Custom cafe bars and grips. Runs with premix since the Autolube was not reliable. Has original 1974 engine with all that entails (the carbs have been rebuilt though). It starts, runs, and shifts (and burbles like a 2 stroke!). Starts in 2-3 kicks. I am not mechanically inclined but I will do my best to answer any questions you have. Clear Wisconsin title in my name. Bike is sold AS IS and WHERE IS. If you wish the bike shipped, I would suggest uShip and I will do my best to accommodate (but I cannot help load).
I have done my best to take photos from all angles but if you would like specifics please let me know. I have a video of the bike running I will try and post.
If you use the Buy It Now, I will pay the shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states.

In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike. The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.Wed, 05 Feb 2014
The custom motorcycle scene is different in Indonesia. Just take this 1968 Yamaha XS650 for example. Built by Barata Dwiputra of Thrive Motorcycles, his inspiration came from a very unsuspecting source: wood-burning stoves.Mon, 23 Jun 2014
Josh Hayes captured his third and fourth wins of the 2014 AMA Superbike season to take the double at Barber Motorsports Park.
