In a year that saw Yamaha riders James Stewart, Valentino Rossi, and Ben Spies capture the perfect “trifecta” of World Championships, perhaps one of the most memorable moments for race fans around the world, was “King” Kenny Roberts’ return ride at the infamous Indy Mile in late August. As a year end surprise, Yamaha is pleased to offer race fans around the world a video of this monumental occasion. Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200

Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.

Victory Strengthens Sponsorship of Bellator MMA

Victory Motorcycles has taken a page out of Harley-Davidson‘s marketing playbook, signing a new sponsorship agreement with Bellator MMA, and becoming the mixed martial arts promotion’s official motorcycle brand. The partnership is similar to Harley-Davidson’s arrangement with Bellator’s chief competitor, the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The two brands started their relationship last August with some cross promotion including branding the walkway to the cage as “Victory Lane.” Beginning with the premiere of Bellator’s tenth season on Feb.
