The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Kyle Wyman, number 33, took the win by a slim margin in the season-opening round of the 2012 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 series in Daytona. Wyman also won the 2011 opening round of the series held at Daytona. Kyle Wyman, 22, of Macedon, N.Y., took the win in the March 16 opening round of the 2012 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 race series held at Daytona, effectively repeating his victory in 2011 during the inaugural round of the AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 series also held at Daytona.

Victory Strengthens Sponsorship of Bellator MMA

Victory Motorcycles has taken a page out of Harley-Davidson‘s marketing playbook, signing a new sponsorship agreement with Bellator MMA, and becoming the mixed martial arts promotion’s official motorcycle brand. The partnership is similar to Harley-Davidson’s arrangement with Bellator’s chief competitor, the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The two brands started their relationship last August with some cross promotion including branding the walkway to the cage as “Victory Lane.” Beginning with the premiere of Bellator’s tenth season on Feb.
