Greetings. Up for sale 1996 Triumph Trophy 900, inline triple, in a beautiful "British Racing Green", Well looked after, adult ridden, great looking bike despite being 20 years old. with 21,500 miles.
Recently replaced and service performed (over $900 worth in parts and labor) New rear tire, (front has 1,500 miles); new battery, new fork seals, new air filter, (3) new ignition coils by Nology. Carbs cleaned, engine coolant replaced. Additionally bike comes with Corbin seat (which has a little tear temporary fixed with gorilla tape, holds well), brand new (never used) side bags liners, owners handbook, service manual, tall screen, bike cover. Recall for 2010 Triumph Thunderbird
Mon, 16 May 2011Triumph Motorcycles is starting a recall campaign on certain 2010 Thunderbird cruisers due to a problem with the front fender fasteners. On certain 2010 Triumph Thunderbirds, including some ABS-equipped units, the four screws on the front fender mounts may come loose. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the plating used on the fender mounting included friction modifiers which are not compatible with the thread lock compound used on the screws.
