2006 Triumph Tiger on a new Tiger Explorer. This bike is in like-new condition. one owner, full maintenance records from new (see picture). There are many of you out there who love this generation of Tiger. It has the versatile mag wheels, the quot;bigquot; electrical system, the optional quick release side bags, a rear rack and aftermarket rear trunk, accessory port near handle bars, aftermarket quot;tallquot; windscreen, hand guards, emergency frame protectors, Corbin seat (factory original as well), and factory center stand. The tires, brakes, chain and sprockets are all in very attractive condition. We just changed her oil and filter, and she just had a new battery a few months ago so she is really ready to go. Triumph Turn Signal Recall Affects 3,799 Motorcycles in US

A recall initially announced in Canada for turn signal stems on certain 2012-2013 Triumph motorcycles has now been announced for the U.S., affecting 3,799 units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall affects the Triumph Tiger 800, Tiger 800XC, Tiger 1050, Speed Triple, Street Triple and Daytona 675,  as well as their various R versions. As described in the Transport Canada recall, the supports for the front and rear turn signals may be prone to fracturing.

Things are coming along nicely in the Speed Triple camp. I’ve finally removed my gaffa tapped heated jacket controls from the tank, and fitted a pair of Bridgestones sticky but durable BT-16’s. Last week a huge box full of R&G crash protection stuff arrived so that will be fitted at the weekend for peace of mind, just as well really because the Triumph now feels like a finely tuned scratcher thanks to a recent new discovery.
