Triumph THRUXTON description

Summer is here and it's time to feel the freedom of the road on this like new beautiful 865cc Triumph Thruxton with only 1400 miles on it. This amazing bike is styled like the old cafe racers of the '60s. The motorcycle is painted silver with a red racing stripe down the middle of the gas tank and rear seat cover and looks stunning as it glides down the road or freeway.

The motorcycle has low miles due to the fact that I've been deployed for my job to Afghanistan as well as other locations and I can no longer enjoy it.

A recent tune up has taken care of any issues that storing it in my parents' garage may have had. The motorcycle is located in Lehi, Utah and can be shown by my father.

Asking price is a modest $5,800.00

Sorry folks not interested in trades.

Schedule a look today and happy motoring.

The Commander sports a tougher image than the regular Thunderbird, boasting dual bug-eye headlights and a beefy 47mm Showa fork holding a fat 140/75-17 tire.

Fri, 05 Aug 2011

MCN has released a video of what appears to be an updated Triumph Daytona 675 undergoing road testing. Filmed by an MCN reader near Triumph’s Hinckley factory, the video quality isn’t very high, but we can see some details from the enhanced screenshot above (click to see a larger version). The most noticeable change is the placement of the exhaust.

Thirty-two years after his death, Steve McQueen still reigns as the coolest movie star to ever ride a motorcycle. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
