Triumph Street Triple description

2012 Triumph Street Triple 675, For sale is a 2012 Triumph Street Triple 675 in Black. This bike is the brother of Triumph's full-blown sport bike, the Daytona 675. The bikes share the same engine and frame, but the Street Triple's engine is tuned for a smoother power curve. The Street Triple also has much more forgiving ergonomics, with a less aggressive stance and riser handlebars. This bike is a fantastic middle-weight sport bike. The throttle is incredibly smooth and forgiving, and the seating position allows you to be nice and comfortable while still being able to tuck down at high speeds. It also makes a fantastic commuter bike. I average about 33 mpg around town, and 49 on the highway. The best part, though, is that Triumph tuned the Street Triple to run on 87 octane, so gas is cheap, even for a bike. The bike only has 1452 miles, and is not due for another oil change until 3000. The title is clean. It's entirely stock except I replaced the stock battery with an aftermarket dry cell battery, it just lasts longer than most and it allows a trickle charge without removing the seat cover . I still have the original battery and will provide it with sale. I also have the owner's manual, all required maintenance by Triumph Certified Mechanics and a spare set of keys. The bike is still covered by the factory warranty for another year. It's a fantastic bike, it has been garage kept and only taken out on beautiful days, it's never seen gravel or rain or dust. It is just over a year old and it looks like I literally took it home from the dealership yesterday. Asking for $8000 or best offer. New Stuff: Bridgestone Battlax Racing R10s

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

...stickier than a Weatherspoons floor on a Friday night. Well that’s not exactly an official Bridgestone technical term but no matter which way you look at it the brand new Battlax Racing R10 tyre is a ‘Road legal’ Supersport/Superstock race tyre. It’s used as the control tyre for the Aprillia RRV450 race series.

2015 Triumph 250 Preview

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

With all the new motorcycles Triumph presented earlier this month at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, we were hoping to see the company’s new 250cc models. Unfortunately, the new small-displacement Triumph models (which made our list of Top 10 Motorcycles to Watch For at EICMA) were not yet ready to be revealed, though Triumph did offer us a glimpse of what to expect, with a sketch of its 250 sportbike. At Milan, the company referred to the sportbike as “Triumph’s New 250″, though it will get a proper name when it’s officially, presented as a 2015 model, likely at next year’s EICMA show or at Intermot in Cologne, Germany.
