Triumph Street Triple description
Up for sale is my 2012 Triumph Street Triple R that I purchased new in Houston in February of 2012. Bike has 1490 miles, never raced and has never been down or dropped. Everything is in mint condition on this bike and since I have moved back to Oklahoma I no longer ride it so I thought I would pass it on to someone who could enjoy it.
Bike is all stock except for the following:
1050 Throttle tube (stock included in sale)
Passenger seat color matched cowl.
Comp Werks Tail Tidy
The passenger pegs have been removed but will be included in the sale.
I have the title in hand, with lien. Once payment is made lien release will be provided by the bank.
Pick up and shipping is the buyers responsibility, once the bike leaves my garage I cannot be held accountable for damage incurred by the shipping agent.
A $250 deposit is required within 24 hours via paypal, remainder to be payed by cashier check.

50th Anniversary Of The Great Escape To Be Celebrated With Electric Motorcycle
Wed, 26 Jun 2013July 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen film, “The Great Escape,” and to commemorate the golden anniversary of McQueen’s escape attempt from German forces during WWII, McQueen Motorcycle will unveil a special electric motorcycle, the Xscape. The Xscape is scheduled to be McQueen Motorcycle’s first production motorcycle, with cues to incorporate today’s technology and integrate “the history and design of tradition.” Details are scarce at this point, but considering McQueen rode a Triumph TR6 Trophy in the scene, it would be reasonable to expect similar styling. In fact, looking closely at the photo above will reveal wire wheels, most likely a nod to the vintage Triumph.
2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple Neutral Indicator Recall Expands to US
Mon, 27 May 2013One of two recalls recently announced for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple in Canada has now been announced for the U.S. Following the earlier recall announced by Transport Canada, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a recall for the Speed Triple because the neutral indicator light may incorrectly remain lit when the motorcycle is actually in gear.

Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
