Triumph Sprint description

A good running Triumph Sprint  has small scratches on body work not enough to worry about. Custom Corbin Seat (gunfighter /lady) as well as the original seat . Genmar bar risers (raise bars to more comfortable height) as well as Zero Gravity Touring Screen higher than stock. Stock hard luggage with small scratches on side & one small dent on top. Pick up only can be driven anywhere. These are known as bullet proof reliable motorcycles with easy to change oil & proven longevity. Absolutely the fastest, best handling and smoothest bike I've owned in 40+ years of riding.  I am 63 and unfortunately health concerns have stopped me from my lifelong favorite activity. Wed, 11 Dec 2013

Two Triumph land speed bikes, the Gyronaut X-1 and the Castrol Rocket, will be on display at the New York Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend. Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.

Triumph’s new Thunderbird Commander and Thunderbird LT are being introduced to the world’s media this week in San Diego, California. MO’s Associate Editor and FNG, Evans Brasfield, is on the scene and ready to test the latest versions of Triumph’s big cruiser, now with a new frame. The Commander sports a tougher image than the regular Thunderbird, boasting dual bug-eye headlights and a beefy 47mm Showa fork holding a fat 140/75-17 tire.

The Triple's ready, three days early!

Wed, 24 Mar 2010

Mark Forsyth returned our Bonneville long termer today, and the Speed Triple was ready at the triumph factory to be brought back with him…three days early. Here’s a picture of it ‘wedged’ in the back of our new Ford Wildtrak. The bad news is, it won’t arrive at our London office until Friday, patience Andy, patience.
