Triumph Bonneville description

IMMACULATELY RESTORED BONNEVILLE
      1964 T120R BONNEVILLE
  • 1964 Triumph Bonneville T120R
This listing is for an extremely well restored Triumph Bonneville.  As the pictures show, everything about the motorcycle is correct, authentic and very well done.  The restoration was completed by Roger Jones of Georgia with nothing overlooked in the process.  Roger is extremely thorough with a restoration.  His mechanical work is every bit as good as his cosmetic finishes.  He starts with complete disassembly.  The engine and transmission are entirely rebuilt with new and/or excellent used parts as required.  From there all components of the motorcycle were addressed with the best possible parts and/or finishes.  Price/cost was never a factor in these restorations...the objective was to produce the best possible 1964 Triumph Bonneville!  Look at the pictures.....I think you will agree the objective was met.  The motorcycle has been run for a few minutes with gas through a funnel (no gas has been in the tank).  After that short run, the motorcycle was put on display (climate controlled) in my personal collection.  The motorcycle has a clear title and is being offered at a very reasonable $14,399 or Best Offer.

Please note that we sell motorcycles on consignment.  If the motorcycle is a “rider”, then we clean it, check fluids and start it….then photo and list it.  If the motorcycle is restored and has been in a private collection, then we clean it, photo it and list it.  If you buy one of these outstanding, restored motorcycles and intend to ride it, we recommend that you carefully service the motorcycle (or have this done by a professional) to prepare it for the road.  Things such as tires may be New Old Stock, more than 25 years old and as such are quite valuable, but, potentially not roadworthy.  Thank you for your understanding.  We love selling these incredible motorcycles….we want every buyer to be pleased and safe!

Craig Vetter To Headline AMA Hall Of Fame Breakfast At Daytona, March 14

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

AMA Hall of Fame member Craig Vetter will be the featured guest at its annual AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona, on Friday, March 14, at 7:00 a.m., at the Daytona 500 Club on the infield at Daytona International Speedway.  “Craig Vetter’s impact is far-reaching, starting with the design of the iconic Windjammer fairings of the 1970s, continuing with motorcycle designs like the Triumph X-75 Hurricane and the limited-edition ‘Mystery Ship,’ and enduring more recently with a resurrected series of motorcycle fuel economy runs that push the boundaries of everyday streamlining,” said Jeff Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the Hall of Fame. “We’re proud to host motorcycling’s design professor emeritus for this year’s Breakfast at Daytona.” Taking place during 2014 Daytona Bike Week, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona fundraiser will feature a live interview with Vetter on stage, an audience Q&A period and an autograph session with Vetter and other Hall of Famers in attendance. The event is open to the public, and tickets are available now at www.motorcyclemuseum.org.

The Triple's ready, three days early!

Wed, 24 Mar 2010

Mark Forsyth returned our Bonneville long termer today, and the Speed Triple was ready at the triumph factory to be brought back with him…three days early. Here’s a picture of it ‘wedged’ in the back of our new Ford Wildtrak. The bad news is, it won’t arrive at our London office until Friday, patience Andy, patience.
