Suzuki Marauder description

Motivation for the 04 Marauder 1600 comes courtesy of a rubber-mounted, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-stroke, four-valve-per-cylinder V-twin. The powerful engine utilizes a compact combustion chamber, digital fuel injection system with dual 40mm throttle bodies and dual-plug digital ignition. The result is precise engine response and gobs of torque. A close-ratio five-speed transmission conveys horsepower to the rear wheel via a low-maintenance, dualhydraulic air shock-equipped shaft drive system. Up front, 43mm upside-down cartridge forks offer unmatched handling while sportbike-style, six-piston discs provide stopping power. Rear brakes consist of a single-disc setup.

Framing the big V-twin motor is a high-tensile-steel, double-cradle frame with 32 degrees of rake and 5.7 inches of trail for optimum handling and stability. Seventeen-inch polished, cast-aluminum wheels are equipped with radial tires front and rear.
Styling for the Marauder is pure hot-rod, from the aggressively styled, oversize headlight to the sleek 4.5- gallon fuel tank. Completing its sporting chic exterior is the sculpted rear fender with exotic-looking taillight treatment and multi-reflector turn signals.

This extremely clean low mileage 1600cc 2004 Suzuki Marauder reeks of hot rod performance and power. It is waiting for you today and is ready to perform smoky burnouts as you blast away from the stop light. Equally at home on the straight aways this Suzuki will carve through the twisties as well. This 1600cc monster runs, rides, shifts and looks awesome and is ready to ride today. The previous owner took loving care of this bike and it shows. We have priced this bike to sell so call us today at 800-807-9910 with any questions or to get a deal started today! Check our feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking and good luck!

I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Race One #493744055 / gettyimages.com Normally a strong starter, Sykes had a nearly disastrous beginning in Race One, while up front, Suzuki‘s Alex Lowes battled with Guintoli and Baz.
