1979 SUZUKI GS750 CUSTOM BUILT MOTORCYCLE

SELLING FOR A FRIEND, SEE BELOW FOR HIS DESCRIPTION

It's time to sell my one of a kind custom.  I have had a lot of fun on this head turner. Runs great but is cold blooded as all the super bikes were back then.  Hard tailed with struts, easily changed by replacing with shocks.

I have new projects to do and I can't keep them all forever so I am looking for a good home for her.  Here is a list of modifications I have made.

Custom handlebars, custom built fenders, custom built tail light housing, bullet turn signals, chrome speedometer, custom built exhaust, modified frame, all electronics repositioned electronics under the seat, fabricated seat pan, mount and springs, custom seat, fabricated side covers, reshaped mirrors and custom paint.

The mufflers have easily repairable shoe scuffs on the sides, the cam cover has a tiny oil leak and if you look really close you will see the slightest amount of smoke from the left muffler.  All of it's slight problems I mention but never repaired because of their minor nature.

2004-2013 Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes Recalled for Master Cylinder Replacement

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Suzuki is recalling 2004-2013 GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 sportbikes as well as GSX-R1000 models from 2005-2013 because of a problem with their front brake master cylinders. As of publication, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not officially announced any recalls because of the federal government work stoppage, but notices have been sent out to dealerships across the U.S. Meanwhile, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has posted a recall, and we expect to see further news to come from other markets.

2014 Suzuki Burgman 125/200 Revealed; 200 Version Coming to US

Mon, 23 Sep 2013

The big news from Suzuki this past weekend was preview and release of specs for the new 2014 V-Strom 1000 in France at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Slightly overshadowed however was the official unveiling of two new Burgman scooters with 125cc and 200cc engines. European consumers have had the Burgman 200 and Burgman 125 (perennially one of the top selling scoots in Europe) for more than a decade now while here in North America, we’ve only have the larger Burgman 650 model.

Eugene Laverty Talks Suzuki MotoGP Testing

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

In this diary entry, Voltcom Crescent Suzuki’s Eugene Laverty reflects on a busy three weeks that saw him visit Suzuki HQ in Hamamatsu in Japan, test the Suzuki MotoGP machine in Okayama and Phillip Island; and then race to a podium position at the Sepang World Superbike round in Malaysia. The past few weeks have been one hell of an adventure. The trip started out in Donington for the British round of the World Superbike Championship and from there I travelled directly to Japan for my debut test on Suzuki’s MotoGP prototype.
