Kawasaki Other description

This bike started off as a standard 650-C. I got the bike in bone stock condition although it had a fairing and velocity stacks.

I stripped the bike down to the engine and frame and began to customize everything else. A lot of labor went into carefully choosing what to install, what to leave stock and what to alter otherwise.

Added a seat from a custom shop in Cali, hoses from Dime City cycles, new clip ons, new front master cylinder assembly, LED's and tail lights, custom/racing quick release seat pins.
Everything aluminum was stripped, primed and painted. There are three types of black paint on the bike, flat, semi gloss and a textured black on the engine crankcases for added race themed look.

I wanted to pay homage to Gulf Racing and Steve McQueen's Le Mans movie. As a huge Porsche fan the race cars of that era like the 917's always had a deep seeded effect on me and I was looking for a project to bring that about. I was also a big fan of the old school superbike looks nad decided to meld the best of both worlds to bring to you the bike you see today for sale.

The mechanicals are strong and this bike will get you where you need to go and get you noticed along the way. This paint just pops in the light and draws attention to the bike.

Purchased the bike a year agao and took the time to think about the changes I wanted to make and how to go about them. Bike has a clear title and never been dropped. I would have noticed when I was stripping the 'tins" for paint. Also, for a 35 year old bike the mileage is fairly low and it reflects in the strength of the motor.

So bid with confidence and own a bike you'll be proud to display at your local meets.
