                                                                                            1972 Kawasaki H2 750

I have decided to go ahead and list my H2 as a BUY IT NOW, MAKE OFFER LISTING.   This way, you simply click the BUY IT NOW and you win the bike.  Or, you make an offer, and I either accept it or decline it.   I respond right away, so please be ready to go with your funds in place to purchase the bike.  PAY PAL IS HOW I ACCEPT PAYMENT.  I NEED YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS THAT YOU HAVE LINKED TO YOUR PAY PAL AND I SEND YOU AN INVOICE UPON YOU WINNING THE BIKE AND YOU PAY IT THEN.  SIMPLE. EASY.  NO HASSLES.  THANKS.

This is a very nice low mileage original H2 with only 6904 original miles on the bike.  It is numbers matching H2.    Frame# H2F-20148 /  Engine# H2E-20195  My H2 starts, runs, rides, shifts, and brakes very nicely. and everything on the bike works as it should, including all electrical items, turns signals, headlight, rear tail light, etc..  As you can see, the chrome is in excellent condition. The fork seals are good with no leaks.  There are no engine leaks.   The engine purrs like a kitten till the triple pipes roar.  The original chain oiler is still in place.  The bike has the original paint and it is not faded. There is a little bit of clear coat discoloration on the right tank decal as pictured.  The exhaust is very nice and the mufflers have the original baffles.  There is one small road scrape underneath on the lower right pipe, hard to see.  There are no dents in the tank and it is just like new inside.  There are a couple of small little chips in the paint on the front fender, very minor.  The side covers are really nice.  The seat is in excellent original condition. The tires are new this year.    The bike comes with  tool kit and owner's manual.  The bike is being ridden regularly and I have recently ridden it to a vintage motorcycle night in which the bike attracted a huge crowd.  I have done my best to describe the bike.  Please, if you have less than 10 positive feedback please contact me before bidding. This is a 44 year old motorcycle and does not come with any warranties, either expressed or implied.  Thank you very much for your interest and for bidding.  Good luck to all.    REMEMBER, PAY PAL ONLY.  UPON AUCTION END, YOU SEND ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IS LINKED TO YOUR PAY PAL AND I SEND YOU THE FULL INVOICE.  SIMPLE.  EASY.

SHIPPING:  I do not ship vehicles,  and I am not a dealer or a mechanic.  The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for their own shipping or pick the vehicle up.  I will store the vehicle for up to 30 days.  Please try to get it picked up by then, otherwise, storage fees of $10 per day will be added to what you owe. Thanks.

PAYMENT:  Please, PAY PAL ONLY.   I send you an Invoice as soon as the auction ends and you pay the Invoice then please.  You will need to give me your email address as soon as you buy the bike ok?  These are my terms.  Thank you.

Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Z1

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ground-breaking Kawasaki Z1 which made its public debut in 1972, becoming what many would regard as the world’s first superbike. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972  IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
