I am selling my 2010 KLR650E motorcycle. It has 27,150 miles mostly highway. I will continue to ride it to work on nice days.
I mostly commute to work on the interstate, have ridden on dirt road a few times. I am the second owner I bought it about 3 years ago. This bike has been very well maintained. It has been Garage kept and maintained since I purchased it. It has some normal scratches etc from normal wear. It has never been dropped since I've owned it. When I bought it the Plastic cowlings had some cracks and scratches so I repaired them and repainted them black. It also has black gorilla tape on the cowlings to help to prevent flapping of the tank mollies. This bike has been well cared for by me and is in excellent running condition. This bike is ready for any adventure anywhere, fully loaded, prepared for anything. In very nice condition for the year. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries
Tue, 09 Oct 2012American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.
