     For sale is a 2009 KTM 450 sxf.  It is a great bike for the woods or track.  The motor has been rebuilt with about two hours on it.  The bottom end, cases, crank, trans, pump, are all new.  They came from a bike that was parted out new off the show room floor.  The cylinder is replated by U.S. chrome.  stock piston. New stock valves.  New stock clutch.  Hinson clutch basket.  FMF slip on muffler.  JD jet kit.  The bike runs great.  I rode it in both woods and mx.  suspension has stock springs with race tech gold valves and factory connection res.  This bike was built by a professional motorcycle mechanic.  I love the bike.

     For sale is a 2010 KTM 250 sx two stroke.  This is an awesome bike.  The engine is probably the strongest 250 engine out there.  I replaced the crank, cylinder, piston, seals and bearings about 20 hours ago.  I also replaced the clutch with a barnett dirt digger kit. It has barnett plates and aluminum basket with steel inserts. It has a vertex piston and 2012 cylinder with the more aggressive porting.  FMF pipe and silencer.

KTM Signs Jordi Viladoms to Race Dakar Rally

It’s never easy to replace someone you’ve lost, but life invariably must go on. KTM recognizes this, announcing the signing of Jordi Viladoms to its Dakar Rally factory team to take the spot of Kurt Caselli who succumbed to injuries in a crash at the SCORE Baja 1000. “We are very aware that no one is able to replace Kurt, who was a special friend and teammate, but we believe that what we need now for the team is stability,” says Alex Doringer, manager of the Red Bull KTM Rally team.

Duke-Based 2015 200 KTM Supermoto Spied

KTM is following-up its small-displacement naked Duke and RC sportbike models with a new line of supermotos based off of the same platform. As with the Duke and RC models, we should expect KTM to offer supermotos in 125, 200 and 390 versions, all sharing similar engines and frames. A test mule of what appears to be a KTM 125 or 200 Supermoto prototype was spotted fueling up somewhere in Europe and from the photograph (see below for a larger version) above we can see a swingarm, ten-spoke wheels and trellis frame that appear identical to those on the Duke.

November retail sales growth figures for KTM North America, Inc. have put the motorcycle company out front as the fastest growing motorcycle company in the US for 2013. KTMs November unit sales rose 49% compared to the same month in 2012 and year-to-date numbers at the end of November showed KTM leading growth with a 28.8% increase.

Chris Fillmore Returning To KTM AMA Superbike For 2014

KTM Motorsports and Chris Fillmore have agreed to terms that will see the former supermoto ace return to the KTM/HMC Superbike Racing team for his third consecutive season. Fillmore, who started racing with KTM on its supermoto Team in the early 2000s, began testing the RC8 superbike in 2008. Since that time he has piloted the bike in its first-ever AMA Pro SuperBike race and gone on to run two full-time seasons in that series with a career best finish of fourthoverall.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

KTM announced its 2014 AMA Supercross team, with reigning 250SX West Champion Ken Roczen joining Ryan Dungey on the 450 class team. The two will form a formidable one-two punch for the Red Bull KTM factory team as it hopes to unseat three-time champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki. “Next year’s competition is going to be tough with several young, fast and talented riders entering the 450 class,” says Dungey who has finished third for three straight seasons after winning the title in 2010.

Rossi’s Brother Luca Marini Tests Aspar Team Moto3 Racer

Valentino Rossi‘s half-brotherLuca Marini took part in the official test at Spain’s Valencia circuit, riding the Aspar Team‘s KTM-powered Kalex Moto3 racebike. Marini will race for the Aspar Team at the final round of the Moto3 class in Spain’s CEV championship next weekend at Jerez as part of an arrangement between Aspar Team and Rossi’s VR46 Riders Academy. Next season, Marini will compete full time in the CEV for Aspar.
