KTM SX description

2001 KTM 400 SX Racing motorcycle.
Very good condition with extra's. I purchased this early this year for trail riding, installed a Seat Concepts, wide, well padded seat, very comfortable. Has a Trail Tech Instrument, speedo, tach, odometer, temp gauge and ET with clock. Installed a 12 tooth countersprocket to slow it down a bit, comes with 13T also. Have original KTM owners, and service manual in original KTM briefcase. Unit has been serviced an maintained meticulously with synthetic oil. Starts easy, all controls and mechanicals function properly. I am selling to trade for a slower bike. Tires are near new, 150 miles. Let me know what questions you have. Local pickup only.

KTM is getting ready to race next year with the RC8 R, a superbike, which they unveiled in Milan this week.

Dainese Reveals D-Air Racing Thorax

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

Dainese has revealed a new version of its airbag protection system for racers that adds protection to a rider’s chest named the D-Air Thorax. Like the D-Air Street, the Thorax uses an airbag that inflates upon a collision to protect the collarbone and torso, but has a more ergonomic design to suit a racer’s compact riding posture. The shoulder protection has also changed from the original D-Air Racing design, covering more of the shoulders’ sides as well as the collarbone area.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Indianapolis Results

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

Six more rounds remain in the 2012 AMA Supercross season and the championship is more or less decided. The first third of the season was a thrilling four-man fight for the title. The middle of the season saw contenders drop like flies and now, what looked to be a dramatic battle for the title is shaping up to be a second consecutive AMA Supercross Championship for Ryan Villopoto.
