Hi,I'm selling my KTM 250xcf. i'm a trail rider that usually goes to Hollister Hills for trail riding with the family. I'm the 2nd owner and I bought this bike 3 yrs ago and i've put about ten hours on the bike. When I bought the bike, it came with a fresh piston. I have all the workshop receipts and manuals that came with the bike when new. The beautiful thing about this bike is that it has an electric starter. Comes with a fresh dunlop tire in the rear. Both rims are Excel.Registration paid till June 2015.Every ride I:Lube the chainChange the oilClean the air filter (i just bought a new 1 with less than 30 minutes on it)Entire front suspension (re-valved and new fork springs) done by James @ Super Plush Suspension. Set up for a 170 pounds rider and im 5'9.I have an extra Nstyle graphics kit that i have not installed. When i ordered my graphics kit from Nstyle, they shipped the 1 i wanted and an additional 1 that was different. Ohlins Chooses KTM 250 SX-F for 2012 AMA Supercross and Motocross Championships
Tue, 06 Dec 2011Öhlins USA announced its AMA Supercross and Motocross team will use the KTM 250 SX-F for the 2012 season. Team Öhlins will enter three riders in the 250 class for both the indoor Supercross and outdoor Motocross championships. Öhlins has already announced 21-year-old Les Smith of York, S.C., as one of its riders (pictured above on the KTM.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success
Mon, 29 Jul 2013AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.

Wed, 06 Mar 2013John Penton was one of the most influential figures in the development of off-road motorcycle racing in America during the 1960s and ’70s. His life’s story is triumphant and tragic. When his attempts to convince Husqvarna to produce a smaller, lighter motorcycle fell on deaf ears, Penton created his own design and commissioned KTM, a small moped and bicycle maker in Austria, to build it. The motorcycle was an instant success in off-road competition and led KTM to expand its efforts in the motorcycle realm, initially in conjunction with Penton and ultimately on its own.
