The dirt-road Terra features a 652cc single-cylinder DOHC motor based on BMW s venerable G 650 GS engine. A modified EFI system, redesigned cams, higher compression and revised piston and cylinder head increase the power output, allowing the TR650 to boast 58 horsepower while still offering excellent fuel capacity of over 55 mpg. 652cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine based on the BMW G 650 GS motor. High-revving, responsive power with 58 horsepower. Five-speed gearbox with mechanical clutch. Excellent fuel efficiency, estimated at over 55 mpg. 2012 Husqvarna TC/CR Motocross Models Announced

Husqvarna announced its 2012 motocross lineup including the updated TC250 and TC449 four-stroke models and CR125 two-stroke. Like the previously announced TE dual sports and TXC and WR off-road models, Husqvarna‘s 2012 motocross line receives new all-black chromoly frames with added structural reinforcement, and silver anodized Excel rims. 2012 Husqvarna TC250 The 2012 Husqvarna TC250 (pictured above) receives a new engine with a lighter piston and updated cylinder head, both borrowing from parent company BMW’s Formula 1 developments.

Husqvarna Names Robert Jonas Head Of Motorsport

Effective immediately, Husqvarna Motorcycles has named 39 year-old, Robert Jonas as Head of Motorsport. He will be responsible for all of Husqvarna’s racing activities, including Motocross, Enduro, Extreme Enduro, and Moto3 road racing programs. As a former motocross racer Robert Jonas has been involved in motorcycle racing for much of his life.
