This auction is for a used 2000 Honda Valkyrie in very good condition with very low mileage. Adult owned and never been dropped. A few minor scratches from normal wear but you can hardly see. The black paint is very shiny and all the chrome is bright with no tarnish. The engine is all stock and has been maintained and runs flawlessly. It has the Valkyrie leather bags and a windshield and chrome fender trim front and rear. Garage kept. You will not be disappointed with this Valkyrie. New bike forces sale. Hero Moto Unveils Leap Hybrid Scooter Concept, Claims 235 MPG
Fri, 06 Jan 2012Indian manufacturer and former Honda partner Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a new hybrid scooter prototype at the 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The Hero Leap runs on a series hybrid powertrain with the battery-powered electric motor providing most of the power and the gasoline engine acting as a range extender, charging the battery and supplying power when the battery runs low. Hero claims fuel economy of up to 100 km/l, which translates to an eye-popping 235 mpg.
AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”
Fri, 12 Apr 2013When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.
