Honda Other description

2014 Honda Grom

I got this bike purely for enjoyment. I saw pictures of them online and read up on them and was determined to buy one. At that time they were really hard to come by and the quote I got from Greathouse Honda in Bryan TX was $3975 out the door for a new one. If you aren't familiar with them they'll do 60-65mph and wheelies all day long. They have a proper clutch and manual transmission, are fuel injected and there are tons of aftermarket mods for them. It also gets well over 100mpg! I have all of the stock parts if you wanted to return it that way, but it currently has:

Gold Renthal handle bars
MNNTHBX fender eliminator kit with LED tail light
MNNTHBX heavy duty clutch plate
MNNTHBX upgraded clutch springs
Sunstar 14 tooth sprocket (also comes with the stock 15T and a 13T for mad wheelies)
Composimo 4-6" adjustable stretch kit set in the middle
New DID chain
Custom low-exit exhaust made from the stock unit cut down and some of the baffles removed(louder but not totally obnoxious, looks sharp)

It's had Motul oil in it and also comes with a set of MNNTHBX fat bar mounts to install tapered MX style handlebars. Also has a battery tender installed and comes with a disk brake lock/alarm to keep it safe. Has a clear Texas title in my name. This thing has always been adult owned/operated and babied.

Rossi runs special Simoncelli tribute helmet

Sun, 06 Nov 2011

During the 10 o'clock trial laps today, Valentino ran with a new helmet dedicated to his friend Marco Simoncelli. To demonstrate how much Valentino was affected by the tragedy that hit the Honda rider, Valentino's helmet will be divided in half: the front part of the AGV GP-Tech will be exactly like Marco Simoncelli's, with its red and white motif and ever present number 58, while the back will maintain the colours Valentino used throughout the 2011 season. Vale will use the helmet for all of Valencia's weekend.

Wed, 10 Feb 2010

LEGENDARY JAPANESE tuning house Yoshimura has designed a series of slip-on performance end cans for Honda’s naked CB1000R.The brand new EEC-approved cans bolt straight onto the bike's exiting pipework and feature a stainless steel end cone and integral lower Yoshimura logoed cat-converter heat shield. Even with the dB-Killer baffle in place peak power is improved, as is mid-range torque with further performance gains available if the baffle is removed.A full race mid-pipe, extracting yet more power is on the way and will be available later in the year. The Yoshimura CB1000R Slip-On, including the supplied heat shield, is over 4kgs lighter than the OE item, the Carbon sleeve, even more so at just 4.65kg.Part Number/Sleeve Type/Weight/RRP including VAT1A0-480-5B50         Stainless Steel           2.61kg                       £712.711A0-480-5B80          Titanium                    2.45kg                        £770.181A0-480-5B80B         Titan Blue                 2.45kg                        £850.651A0-480-5B90          Carbon                      2.35kg                        £896.631A0-480-5B20          Metal Magic               2.61kg                        £793.17         Noise Output (decibels)Standard end can: 94dB    @ 5,000rpmYoshimura EEC Slip-On:  94.5dB @ 5,000rpm(with db-killer in place)
