Honda Magna description

The bike runs great; idles smoothly and gets 50 MPG. New battery, very well maintained; cranks every time; never down, hard to tell it's a 1987 V-4 model.  One small scratch on the bottom of the tank from a zipper- easy to repair. Right side emblem missing-easy to replace. Left side cover has a chip on the bottom but it doesn't show and can be replaced. I've spent a lot of money maintaining this bike and it shows. Easy to ride and comfortable; shaft drive, water cooled, new fork seals, carburetor rebuilt by a specialist, seat is in excellent shape, lot's of chrome, always stored inside. Metzeller radial tires, luggage rack, windshield, LED rear lights.  Oil changed regularly. Everything works as it should and it's ridden regularly. There can't be many left like this one. You won't be disappointed. Very fast.

Proof: Change chain, gain power

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

Point six of a BHP may not sound like much but, in my book, any gain is a good gain, especially when it’s as simple as changing a chain and sprockets. After all, you're going to have to do it sooner or later when your old chain and sprockets die their death. I’ve always been interested in what gains are available in the drive train.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.

Casey Stoner To Test Factory Honda At Motegi

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

British publication MotorcycleNews.com is reporting that 2007 and 2011 MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner will test a factory Honda RC213V at the Twin Ring Motegi, Honda’s test track, August 6-7. Stoner’s shock retirement from MotoGP at the end of the 2012 season was met with skepticism in some circles, as many believed (and still do) that the 27 year-old, current Australian V8 Supercar driver would eventually make a comeback to two wheels. As it stands, HRC has no plans to enter Stoner as a wildcard entry at Phillip Island or Motegi MotoGP rounds, and insists the former champion’s services are being used strictly to help develop next year’s RC213V and the 1000cc production racer Honda plans to introduce next year.
